Fast forward to 13:30 and watch the presenter panic as Internet Explorer locks up and even the physical button couldn't get him back out of it (he had to switch to the backup unit)
Will they ever learn!

I'm only going to get it if you can use a different web browser i just couldn't use the Ie one for too long
Haha, he did handle it with quite some class thou. Doubt I would have so calmly.
I think it wasn't IE that crashed, assuming the code for the ARM is similar design to the x86 one I've been deving with. It looks like something is blocking the HID components from working, if you see he does the gesture to bring down the tabs at the top, which comes down, only to go back up. I'd hazard a guess this might even be a hardware issue, given the pre-production prototype status.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Looks pretty damned good, I'll be watching/following developments with interest... (I still can't get on with Windows 8, though.)
I haven't had time to watch the keynote yet. Why is it that the x86 version is coming out 3 months later?
Currently studying: Electronic Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southampton.
I'm also hoping they make a 'gamer specific' touchcover for this too.
Pro looks great. All x86 applications, and a physical keyboard. Wonder if it be ~$1200 or will it be more.
Also interesting to see what would be the battery life on Pro.
seems like they have certainly taken a leaf from apples book with regards to design and making things appealing, it looks extremely well thought out and innovative.
Dont think i will trust the first run of them though, let them get to the second generation or at least halfway though the first when its revised slightly.
Windows 8 locked up on me when I first read about it locking up,during the Surface presentation. Comical timing.
It's a fairly stable OS, but I do get the occasional freeze (possibly my hardware, this computer is the most unstable I've ever had and I can't wait to get shot of it (...and now I've got no chance of being able to shift it on here. That was stupid )
This looks pretty decent. One of, if not the only time a tablet has got my interest. It could prove to be a very versatile portable workhorse.
