Surely all they do is harm themselves by having all their company secrets exposed to the world in court? All smartphones look broadly similar, can't they just deal with it!
What next? Suing oven manufacturers suing over the brushed aluminium with a black window look - they do look kinda like a powered down iMac.
I don't think it's really harming samsung, apple are making themselves look very bad though.
So there's this company with such great imagination they name themselves after 1796 identified apple variety accusing others of being less than innovative for using rounded edges on their devices as well? Could we please get x-ray scans of their cranials making sure their brains were not bitten off just like "their" company's logo is? Or politely ask Ontario Heritage Foundation to sue Apple for making a public mockery out of McIntosh (The Mac) apple variety? Or maybe the city of New York could step in? Someone? Please!
All Samsung need to do is stop making Ax(x) cpu's for Apple...sorted. Bet they ain't got the balls though. Or perhaps suddenly increase the price by 200%
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Indeed 'Unique', if Samsung decide to pull a hissy fit and break all contacts, it would be simple for Apple to find another manufacturer for the A5X chips.
However it might be a little more difficult for Apple to find another company to produce the retina displays, well at least if the contents of this article are still relevant (and accurate for that matter).

Either way this feud between Apple and Samsung is pointless in my eyes.
but that article says LG were supplying screens and sharp were due to start around april. basically if samsung didn't supply apple they could get someone else to do it. i don't know why apply bother giving samsung the business. they could hurt them more financially by using other suppliers, even if apple have to pay a bit more, he point is it takes money away from their competitor that they think is copying them
I don't think Samsung have the balls anyway....but if you suddenly stopped supplying them surely production would be interrupted sufficiently to mean idevices wouldn't be available for a month or so....I imagine that would hurt far more than pointless patent wars...but again it appears Apple are the worst for doing this anyway!
