News - Samsung GALAXY Note II to feature flexible OLED display?

Signs point to yes... though perhaps not in the manner you would expect.

That does look good. Wonder if i'll be able to afford to upgrade my mark 1 note when it comes out? Extra screen space for the same form factor is always a win.

no bezel would make at-edge interceptions easier in New Star Soccer - but then so would removing the case.

Looking forward even more now to my Note 2 and to reducing my Virgin Mobile accounts by a third.

That picture attached is an obvious PhotoShop mock-up, though I'm not saying you claimed anywhere that it could be the next Note, mind you - it's just rather unconvincing. Flexible OLED? Now, that could be used for all kinds of "trickery and wizardry" I can see Samsung "sweeping away" (see what I did here?) with Apple claims over disappearing scroll-bars IP etc, by simply folding parts of the screen over the sides and using that as touch enabled scroll-bar areas, user notifications with "ambient lighting" (Philips permitting LOL),... If they'd be able to make a small part of such screen porous enough to allow for sound to pass through easily, maybe even hide those tiny speakers behind it? Even the front-facing camera could be hidden behind the screen with the screen part covering it and becoming transparent (easy enough on OLED) on camera use... They could even name it iBrick and ask Linus if he'd stick one up to Apple on official wallpaper
