i have no idea what people see in apple's products?
So what do you see in other competitors products that make them stand out differently to apple?
I don't know where all of this apple hate came from, only 6-7 years ago people were hoping they would topple the M$ empire and now this. Personally on my next upgrade I'll probably get a Galaxy S III don't like how apple have changed its connector meaning all of my accessories are practically defunct.
Thanks,
Sacred
I don't know, can't say I've ever been behind Apple much. Never had a good experience with a Mac OS machine, not a huge fan of Apple inspired aesthetic sense either. I did own an iPhone 3GS and liked it very much but the OS hasn't scaled well with new functionality and the look of the device wasn't what I'd call typically Apple either.
I can certainly see the appeal. A slick, easy to use UI and a product marketed as a premium device has a lot of appeal to a large part of the market. It's not for me (I'm a substance over style man myself) and I also take issue with some of Apple's business practises but I'm not blind to the appeal. I think those that claim to be are being deliberately obtuse...
Being obtuse? Yes, yes they are.Originally Posted by Wildcard[UK
I am looking forward to this release purely because I am curious as to what they can do to try and top Samsung with their Galaxy S III. That phone is phenomenal in power, looks, functions. It will be running Androids latest version and with that combination I cant see how Apple have a hope in hell of competing. Well, numpty brigade with more money then sense anyway!
Should see the 4S drop in price then
18 months left on my 4s contract. interesting to see just how different it is.
Can't wait to get rid of my current Android phone. I absolutely loathe the thing and Android is bloody awful compared to iOS.

Did you take advantage of the upgrade to ICS? If so, then I share your pain - my daughter had an Arc S, but that upgrade ruined it - I've seen alpha's from xda that were quicker (and more stable). Sony should have been ashamed. She eventually decided that she couldn't stand it any more and switched to an HTC One S, which is doing very well - lightning fast and pretty easy to use.
Shame because that Arc S is a seriously good looking phone - us two agree that it makes the 4/4S look like something designed in a high school "engineering" class by comparison. Heck, I'll even say that it's a better looking device than my S3. The last "proper" phone from Sony before they decided to stick with the "technobrick" style that they've adopted at the moment.
Like most, I'm going to be fascinated to see how Apple decide to reply to the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3. One thing's for certain (from comments from Apple fans I know) - if it ships with anything less than a 4" Retina display then it's going to flop.
Yes how do you compete with 1.7ghz quad core?!?!
Does any iphone4/s, infact any iphone owners in the UK know if we had preorders? Is it only an apple store thing or does it apply to the carrier with contract too?
