I would get one. They could produce a washable mouse too.

A good idea, and if it's as durable as logitech's usually are (he says typing on a 5 year old G15), could see the appeal in an office too.

OK Logitech, this is a list of things you need to change and we'll (probably) buy a few off you:

    - Wireless (optional really, but rubberizing batteries compartment shouldn't be that difficult nowadays, should it?)
    - UK layout (I actually want that double height Enter key, imagine that! Among many other benefits in contrast to US layout, and if nothing more it would at least be ever so slightly more P.C. LOL)
    - More space on each side next to navigation keys (some people actually can type and look at the screen at the same time, go figure... which keys your fingers are over!)
    - Ergonomic keys design (Or, alternatively, keep the flat keys and add a big C.T.S. key so we all get the joke!!!)
    - Make non-polyester keys (Or make sure your customers don't dare drying the keyboard with a hair dryer after washing, as most might actually think you put some thought into its design, considering the cost, wouldn't they, those rascals LOL!?)
    - Send me a thank you check for giving you free pointers on how to make a keyboard people both WANT and CAN USE, and I promise the beer I'll spend it on will only be used to test your new products, etiquette courses and such, maybe even a new spell-checker, sum permitting!

    Cheers!

    Oh, and @Big Adam...

Wireless? As an option? Right. As the only model? Couldn't be any wronger.

Logitech definitely needs to make more layouts available, though.

I'm sorry but I fail to get your point. You're not trying to suggest you know better what I want than I do, are you? For a keyboard, having wireless as an option (detachable USB connector and drivers support is all it takes) would definitely make for a good reason to buy. In my book at least. I would have it "plugged-in" for most of the time while working and gaming (less or near to no lag and not using any batteries) and detach for when I'd be watching movies and such. They could even make it recharge while plugged-in but that would pointlessly increase the cost when non-rechargeable batteries could last years. To cut costs, they could even provide a radio USB receiver as an option as most of us already have at least a few lying around and all we'd really need is new drivers. If they put in the box a double height Enter key top and enable layout changes in software, that would be good enough. We can mod our keyboards ourselves then if they couldn't be bothered to provide different layouts.

Re: News - Logitech’s hygienic, washable K310 keyboard

I love their products because they are really durable, but I hate their drivers... this keyboard is surely a great product for people who like to keep their keyboard clean, but I doubt it that it's as comfortable to type with as my oh-so-cheap K120 that's also spill resistant, and looks better. Not to mention that keys are so easy to see in the dark. It's the best Logitech keyboard now, IMO. It is also quite small. Love it.

You seem to not be following what I said. Having such a model being wireless only is wrong, period, as enough people won't touch wireless with a ten foot pole for a multitude of reaasons. Of course, different people have different preferences, which is why options are appreciated. And yes, having a hybrid model would be even better.

A battery recharging circuit is quite inexpensive to implement, and serves mainly as an excuse for price hikes.

The single height Enter key is quite a dealbreaker, as it affects multiple layouts, and I certainly don't think that it would introduce that much expenses over current available layouts.
