    Well, I think it will come down to price and MS should have an edge there as they are making the OS! It also doesn't hurt that the surface seems to be really well designed. I see it as a postive overall because it can only push the other OEMs to spend time carefully considering their designs rather than just churning them out.

    Wouldn't bother with windows 8 unless it is on a touch screen device.
    Besides Sony is usually overpricing their products; not to say they don't make quality products.

    Sony never gone for value for money,that's why I ditched their products long time ago. Unless there is great differentiation, there is very little reason to choose Sony. Sony has to remember the products they are getting into are now mainstream and becoming commodities as we know it.
