Looks like their based on Clevo chassis to me, nice to see another retailer in England, basically makes scan and PCSpecialist as the only two lol. Scan could do with a lot more customization options mind you and a look at their prices, currently the Vortex 3 can be equipped to a higher spec for cheaper with more options.
Good to see 3xs going down the Clevo laptop route... though I would like to see a bit more available in terms of customisation. Ideally I'd want an i7 3720/3740 cpu coupled with a 630/640/650 nvidia gpu. There's a very big gap in price between the 3610 and 3920!
Hopefully as time passes then the available options will increase, I've been looking at these for a while but have a friend who had such massive problems with the *other* clevo retailer that I could never buy from them.
Chart in the article lists them all as an LG5?
Looks nice, the LG5 is something I'd be interested in, I'd like to be able to drop to 4GB though to spend that cash on something else, will that become an option at any point?
Hmm I looked into Clevo's about a year ago and the company that was dealing them since has gone bust, cannot remember the name for the life of me but at the moment for laptops the Dell outlet is far cheaper than anything custom!
Kudos scan on making the top configuration a reasonable price.

Damn those laptops look good, I'll have to wait until I've paid off the cost of the system I've just bought though.
Interests: kicking the ass of technical problems and gaming.

I'm really liking that 11.6", first quad core I've seen in a small-ish laptop and for a very reasonable price in the top configuration! I'd buy one right now for uni if I didn't have other, weirder plans for my portable computing. (Hint: ARM. Lapdock. Powerful x86 blade when required.)

Pretty sure they are, at least the 17" model is looks like a P170EM to me http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/products/...productid=383#
The 11.6" model looks like a W110ER and the 15" model could be a P150EM.

Once you add the VAT, the prices really start looking silly
