$1.6m to be exact, what's the difference? Figures are rounded anyway.
Main thing regarding the article is the ad and it is quite good in my opinion. Am sure some people would like Star Wars invading Elder Scrolls or some other weird fantasy but I think they went right direction this time and delivered strong message. Hope it will be followed by more ads in same fashion, maybe detailing the OS more.
Very cool advert! great way of raising awareness, I am sure it will go viral very fast. Well Done!
That is a lot for just an advertisement! Well done Microsoft!
Rounding down by a factor of 1000? - If you have US $1 500 000 000 (and I'm being nice and using the US billion here) you'd like to swap for £1 000 000 sterling, I'm very interested, give me a call.
Now the article has been updated, it is $1.6 Bn to £1 Bn, that's three orders of magnitude difference on the exchange rate.
Anyone else think that advert was just a bit weird. Maybe the US like different things, and it was during some dancing program, but it just didn't say 'cool' or 'tech' or anything in particular. A good advert for detachable covers for your iPad maybe...
It's alright, it shows off the nice magnetic keyboard and flipstand. Still not sure high school musical on LSD is the right way to capture our attention. To be very pedantic, he also just taps the screen for no reason at the end, that bugs me
