So with the price drops, We need to keep eyes out for the last of the 8gb tablets dropping in price. Lets hope a few bargains can be had. I'd love a Nexus 10 but £319 is slightly too rich for my blood

Got the 16 gb one a month ago and barely used it, so slightly annoyed :/ - but hey, thats life - though it would have been kinda awesome for the 3g.

Re: News - Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 10 officially announced

Bring the 10" to £200 and ill buy it, unfortunately im a complete cheap skate and will only buy it if I win at poker or something, if I had the money id say the £320 is perfectly reasonable.

The nexus 4 looks amazing and the price looks insane bringing a high end phone down to mid range pricing! Shame it lacks LTE but thats a good sacrifice for this price point, looks like things are becoming very interesting in the mobile phone market, cant wait for my contract to end in may so I can grab one of these amazingly cheap and powerful phones .

If they can put that kind of resolution on 10" screens, why are they still having such low resolutions on desktop PCs!!!

Price of the Nexus 10 seems perfectly reasonable to me so not sure where the 'gouging' comment comes from.

What would Apple charge for something inferior with 32gb?????

    Nuff said

Re: News - Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 10 officially announced

Only issue I see with the Nexus 4 is that it's made by LG - so whilst it may have the latest and greatest Android version now, it'll still have the same version in 2 year's time

Gotta love the resolution on the Nexus 10 though: absolutely and presumably done largely for the "because we can" factor rather than any genuine need for a 10" screen to be WUXGA+.

Im impressed and annoyed all at the same time - i brought the nexus 7 when it first came out and have found it to be the perfect travel companion it's small enough to fit into some tight spots but large enough to ok when browsing. so im very gutted that the 3g 32gb version is only £239.

Isnt the android version directly maintained by Google on Nexus products? So it avoids the LG issue?

That'd be good news if it's true. It'd also go some way to mollifying me, as I had images of all the LG software team (who should - IMNSHO - be getting an ICS/JB update for my O2X written) being horsewhipped to get a working 4.2 release ready for the Nexus...

It is true on Nexus devices Google does the updates, so no worries on that front.

Nice Nexus 10 reso, tho lack of SD card and the style aren't so great, though it's clear it's made to a price-point, looks like we'll have to buy direct from Samsung for anything a little snazzier.
