    That might actually increase the chance of a desktop card - scavenge parts that don't make certification for the professional market, lop some bits off them/turn down the wick some more to make more viable parts and flog them as ultra limited high end parts.

    It still does feature those CPUs AFAIK, just with added Nvidia-ness ; you make it sound like they replaced all the Opterons with Keplers LOL

    Indeed! Also:

    Titan is ten times faster and five times more energy efficient than it had been prior to the upgrade...
    Would mean it consumes double the electricity it used to

    Still, it's a beast!
