    Very interesting, should help NAND technology last longer with shrinking node sizes until an alternative is perfected. I wonder if we'll eventually move back to SLC for mainstream drives when node size makes MLC impractical and/or makes SLC more economic? Technology like this, along with partial page writes, improved controllers etc should keep things interesting.
