I reckon 4.2 will be the last update though for S3 owners.
Fingers crossed though that S3, Note 2 and Note 10.1 owners will get further updates.
Praying that 4.2 isn't the last update - given past experience I'd kind of hope that there'd be at least one major update for the S3 after the SIV comes out. And yes, given I've got an S3 and a Note10.1 (damn you Tesco discounting and Samsung cash back offers!) I've got fingers and toes crossed that they're going to be supported with updates right through 2013.
Phew, thought it was just me - the whole lot struck me as a bit "meh". Heck, the headphone thing I've almost got now - because it gives me the option to select from a list of apps when I plug 'phones in.
If its anything like samsungs 'premium suite' for the note 10.1, it'll mean only a minority will get it and most users will have to resort to spamming samsungs facebook account in the hope they get it some day...........
Well I can't get the update. As usual buying sim-free means I am last in line.
Also have the Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-fi and can't get the update to jelly bean either. Yet the tab 2 can get it. Ridiculous.

Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack
off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
Well I got the tesco deal and even without the staff discount, once you add the clubcard points and cashback etc it was still very cheap considering the tablet.

Might buy two , one with staff discount and one without - send the receipt for the one without discount to Samsung and then return it... Genius.
Same situation I'm in - and I really can't understand why a phone that is - for all intents and purposes - "stock" is apparently slower to update than the one's that T-Mobile, Voda, O2, Three, etc have mucked around with. And Samsung's last statement was that UK Note 10.1 owners would get their JB update in time for Christmas - well time's running out fellas!
Same here - £318 worth of Clubcard points plus the same amount of Nectar points (paid with my Sainsbury's credit card) and then (fingers crossed) 50 quid back from Samsung.
Which - in my book at least - makes the Note 10.1 the same price as the new iPad Mini. No contest for me since the Note tablet is a lot more capable. It's bigger too I know than the Mini - but then again the Mini wouldn't fit in my pocket either.
