I dunno why people think piracy isn't rife in app stores. There was a good story a while back about a dev who was fed up with the fact 90%+ of all connections to his server were from pirated versions of the app on iOS.

Thats what they get for trying to lock us into an Apple-esque ecosystem.

There will allways be piracy, but it hurt the producers of softwares that they depend to gain money from their products, but there are people that really don't have to pay and they wil allways search for alternatives that gives them free access.

I'm all for paying in full for a game. What i don't like is developers being forced to sell a game for a tiny price, then giving a massive chunk of that tiny price to Apple or Google.

I'll happily donate directly to any developers so long as i can get the game outside of the stores Apple and Google force onto us. When is the governments going to step in and use the "Free Markets", "Price Fixing" and "Anti-Monopoly" crap they normally use to bring down overly competitive business models?
