If this is priced reasonably, this is going straight on my 'to buy' list!

Impressive battery life, good looking, decent resolution, decent specs. If it's price right, it should do well.

Sounds like a great device but software support is important on a tablet so I wouldn't rush to buy it even if I was in the market for one.

Funny how the japanese always avoid naming things 'MK2' etc because the japanese pronounce the K2 as ketsu which means ass... bad for advertising; yet they get it wrong all the time overseas.

Re: News - Sharp IGZO-powered Aquos Pad SHT21 launches in Japan

I've completely missed this one. Sharp has nailed three requirements that brings this to the top of my want to have list: #1) Size is absolutely perfect 106x190x9 mm for a 7-inch screen device. Narrow bezels. This means it'll fit into my jacket pocket. #2) A phone and a pad in one perfect size #3) Apt-x for my killer active noise cancelling bluetooth earphones. These three features would be enough, but then there's the bonus #4)Pen. Although I would prefer Samsung's S-pen, this is a bonus. #5) A great IGZO screen #6) Long battery life #7) NFC. And then all the usual stuff such as LTE etc

So Sharp has got a window of opportunity here. They haven't got it out to the shops yet, and no pricing. We'll see what Samsung brings out.
