Do you require a yearly membership on the PS3 to use any of the media services. £125 makes a good media machine/Bluray player.

Depends on the service. Netflix, Lovefilm and other services that require a subscription, you'll still have to play that subscription. iPlayer, 4od, online gaming etc are all free though.

I may get another 360, they are excellent additions to a htpc if running mce.

Get wife's staff discount on that too... £108.00 sounds like a good deal to me.

Sorely tempted, but the storage space available is limited, need to google if these can be easily upgraded, unless someone can advise?

WoW, i wish I lived in UK. This is discrimination for all the people outside UK. I want to buy an XBOX360 as cheap as this price here.

PS3 12GB - is this for the storage onboard (size of the hard drive/flash), or is it referring to something else?

With the spare 500GB hard disk lying around, this would make for a great spare media centre (or I could just swap out the 200gb drive from the old fat PS3 into the new).

Onboard SSD, you need to buy a caddy (~£10 from most game shops/HMV etc) to fit a normal 2.5" drive, if you do this then you lose the 12GB SSD storage.

Surely the next gen stuff will be ready for christmas 2013, seems like a waste to buy these unless you dont own either of them
