The Bt line rental is the reason I went for an all inclusive package.
They should be ashamed for charging so much for the most miserable internet connection possible.

The 14.60 line rental is basically what the government tells bt to charge for maintaining and improving the countries connection.
So to all those on infinity, enjoy. I helped get that to you. Now BT... when can i get more than 2mbs?
Thankfully you can find cheaper line rental. I recently switched to the phone Coop, which is £11 per month on paperless billing. It's also only a 30 day contract minimum.
It never fails to astound me how toothless the ASA is. So those ads must not appear again in their current form. Just how likely is it that BT would want to run the ads again when "Offer ends 10/01/13"....
They'll be sure not to mess with the ASA again!
Thanks whoever dug up the video- certainly cheered up my day lol
BT packages have always been a minefield of terms and conditions, you need scrutinise their offers closely!.
That said their call packages at least include calls to 0870 and 0845, unlike many other competitors who charge for those calls.
Don't trust BT. in 18 months they had taken £150ish which i only found out about when i had another problem and had to go through all my bills. got that refunded and left them - only to find out they had another £70 of my money. BT offer a below budget service for a mid-high price. Remember BT offer nothing new or different, BT openreach (totally seperate company to BT) run the phone network and BT, TalkTalk, Sky, Plusnet, etc (except Virgin) all run their services on the same lines.
