Wouldn't the overhanging PVMs heatsink at the top of the board (in tower orientation) break ATX spec? Not sure it'd fit in cases with a bottom mount PSU and not a lot of spare clearance.
Don't think it overhangs, look like the perspective angle of the photo.
Surprised they went for ROG back and red, Killer NIC looks promising.
This sounds a lot better than I thought it would be, MSI should be able to get some sales in the gaming space, Asus haven't got anything 'gaming' orientated in this price range. The plain black with flashes of red looks great too, just the VRM heatsinks look a bit peculiar
If you have a look at the video you will see it was just the camera angle making it look like that.
I am liking the look of it so far, but VGA? really MSI? If we needed that we would use a DVI adapter, give us another digital port! It also looks very Asus with the colour scheme, when I think of MSI it is usually blue on black products, but I am one of those guys that likes red on black so I'm on crossroads here.
This will leave an intense hold on your name brand. Basically burning your brand on their memory is ones own advertising objective.
I want a mATX version of this series or the MPower series for IVY CPU's please!
