    News - Google Translate now supports offline language packs

    Android 2.3 or better required, abridged download packs for 50 languages are available.

    I installed the app this morning and downloaded the French offline dictionary - it is 200Mb, all of it was downloaded on my tube journey this morning using VM wifi when the tube train was at the stations!

    I downloaded it using Caffé Nero's free Wifi... Didn't realise it was 200Mb though...
