So a 200MHz faster dual-core CPU and the same graphics as used on the Raspberry Pi (still outperforming the Ace 2's Mali 400 though), and 256MB extra RAM. Still, it's a step up, especially the operating system which is still stuck on Android 2.3 for many people.
I guess the upgrade to 1gb ram will make the biggest difference as historically the ace range has had small amounts of ram
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I have the Ace 1 and its a good phone dont get me wrong but the lack of a dual core cpu, 300mb ram and 200mb built in storage is just not sufficient for me. Might look to upgrade if three let me but it all depends on the contract they can offer me and when the phone is actually released

wrong way round mate - 1gb ram and 3 extra gig of storage! Also the cpu and graphics in the ace 1 are very weak these days
factor in the jump to JB on the android side and I reckon it's a no brainer...

The Ace 2 can be had typically 139-199 discounted payg/sim free, would be nice if it was 120 rrp and then discounted...
300 euro seems rather too much.
Its quite nice spec but the acer liquid E1, huawei g330/d and g510/d put it to shame circa 130-165 range although the ace2/3 would have better gpu.
for those wanting phablet style on a budget, look for star n9770
300eur (£250) for this device, hardware-wise is too much. Nokia, at the £99 price-point, offers a Dual core Krait and Adreno 305 (almost equal to Adreno 225) and the same 4.00'' 480x800 display. Nokia Lumia 520 deserves to be a hot device, and if you allow me, it MUST be a hot seller, a way for the consumers to reward a company for such a bold, aggressive pricing.
Nokia only sold 5.6 million Lumias last quarter...can't see the 520 being an amazing seller if retailers don't want to push it, and the buying public aren't really interested
