At least it was in engine, I suppose. 'In engine' doesn't mean 'game play' though, devs and publishers need to stop confusing the two, E3 was a great example.

Well the original was based on a '73 Ford Falcon so there would likely be some similarities there, also this is set somewhere between Mad Max and Mad Max 2 (car get destroyed) so again due to parts issues maybe it was fitted with mustang parts for a while before other parts were available. Gotta scavange what ya can roigt?

Why claim it's gameplay when it so clearly isn't?

I visit hexus for the quality of the journalism in the same way I visit failblog for quality parkour tips.

it says Official Mad Max "Soul of a Man" Gameplay Trailer. It is a trailer + (minimal gameplay - UI and stuff).

Sounds like an instant purchase for me. I am glad they released this partial game play trailer. At least I know they are creating an excellent atmosphere for the game. Hopefully the game play will NOT be like that Battlefield 3 (what a waste of money). All game play should be free rolling like a decent MMORPG with guidance toward the story line locations.

The funny thing I found travelling the world, is that cars with the same names (esp FORDs) in Europe and other parts of the world like Australia, did not look anything like their North American counterparts. FORD only made Falcons in NA until 1970 and they were pretty crappy. My brother had an old beater, approx 62 Ford Falcon. Although, in 1970 in NA you could get a 429 Cobra Jet V8 engine as an option. Mad Max was cool for me because I did not recognize any of the cars.
