Good, simple case. Doesn't look like a big garish sneaker. That fan. Yes.
Seems like just another average case tbh. The 690 was hardly "an icon" as CM calls it. Wish they'd bring back the Stacker; that was an icon.

Looks quite nice but still prefer my 690 II Black & White edition.
No full USB 3.0 front panel yet? Meh
I loved my CM 690, was a great case. Currently being used by a cousin and will probably last more than a decade there. The 690 series has sold very well thanks to its good pricing and versatility, I still think it is the best case in its price range. This version, like the last, adds a bit of polish to a well executed idea.
It looks really good, revolutionary update... I don't think so :/
Currently running the 690 at home. Could do with a filter for the side fan, but besides the old vibration rattle, it's held itself well in the time I've owned it (3-4 years i think)
makes me regret buying the storm scout 1 even more. Why on earth didn't cooler master, after all their case making experience, allow the scout to accept longer graphics cards.
I had the II version of this case and it certainly had lots of features but it did tend to rattle quite a bit (not what you expect for a £70 chassis) - having been a fan of Cooler Master cases for years I took a chance on Corsair and doubt I would go back now simply because of the difference in build quality ...
I reckon Cooler Master must have been hit particularly hard when Corsair entered the market a few years back and they do seem to have run out of ideas - apart from the quite brilliant cosmos series.
Im still using my stacker stc 101 as my main rig lol. I still remember the day i got it. Took it out of the box, put the wheels on... And took it for a ride around the house. ( and yes im that childish) but this new case... Could have been so much more. I do like the look of corsairs 900D. We need a new stacker to go head to head with that.
IMO, they could have done better with this case and most of their cases from now on. They should have made it with a 3x120mm fan mount up top and enough clearance for a full height 360mm rad and 2x120mm fan mount at the bottom for 240mm rad and leave the front the way it is. Come on CM!
Cosmos is brilliant except for aesthetics; proof they still have engineering talent, despite the sheer volume of utter crap they've been shoveling the last few years.
Agreed. But I'll bet you a fiver that if the Stacker was re-released today, it would be steel and plastic instead of quality materials.
What bothers me most is their claim that this case "simultaneously supports dual rads", but fails to mention that you have to throw away both drive cages to make that happen. Should be able to relocate the cages.
hmmm..

Decent cooling potential. Still not sure about aesthetics.
