AMD is finally on the way to defeating the evils of micro-stutter.
I'm not really bothered by this but its nice to see amd getting it sorted so if I ever want to do crossfire I wont be put off by the stutters.
Still quite a way off of being properly fixed, part of me thinks they just mimicked the RadeonPro hack as they couldn't fix the underlying issue. Performance drops being reported with these drives as well Hitman: Absolution actually hits 1fps in places with these drivers.....

I don't know if I'm misunderstanding the data, but isn't that graph a pre-fix chart showing how bad the problem used to be? It seems strange to have that BF3 chart following a sentence that talks about things being smoothed out now, without the follow-up graph to show the improvement. Some people might think the card is still having problems when it's not or, more likely, miss the "lower is better" qualifier and think that the 7990 has some kind of blazing performance advantage.
Just one pound a month can help find a cure for bugs such as Micro shuttering. Please just one pound a month and development can continue. Together we can beat lag.
