Dell seem to be too slow to move with the times...witness the Lenevo story from today

Thing is, they had some interesting products for the smartphone/tablet market a while back, but they just never went anywhere with them.

Cmon, Dell sell it back the founder. They used to be so good, now it is just slowly fading away.

Dell used to be good... AHAHAHAHA

I remember buying my Dimension 2350 10 years ago. They stripped off the AGP slot when it was the norm. They gave me PC2100 slow DDR1 RAM and a whiny Western Digital hard drive. The Combo drive also failed after a year! Their own cooling fan mechanism sounded like an Apache!Power supply was only 200W.

    Hope these muppets die!

Terrible pricing is killing them slowly... For the price of awfully looking E6420 I can get almost two X230s from Lenovo or X1 Carbon and be drunk for a month using the change I will get my not going for Dell...

Place I work for made a switch from Dell to Lenovo last year and I honestly cannot say we have been looking back!

In my company we use the Dell Precision range of Laptops because of the requirement for the Nvidia Quadro range for graphics cards for Solidworks, so not much choice, but they are to expressive for what they are.
