Maybe Sony could release a PS4 + Vita TV + PS Camera bundle for $499 / £429. Same price as the XBox One, but has a way to play your PS4 on another TV when the main TV has been "appropriated" by the other half!

What has me most interested is Remote Play of PS4 to another room via Vita TV, which Sony did confirm.

I'm surprised they're launching so late in their home market...

Re: News - Sony announce redesigned PS Vita 2000 and the PS Vita TV

I don't mind the idea of the PlayStation Vita TV, but the redesigned Vita doesn't look too bad. And to be honest I am one of the people who got the original one despite all the "hate" on it and it's actually that bad. Yeah there are a few flaws like spending all that money on a handheld with a heavy emphasis on the AR even to include AR cards and give it such a rubbish camera. But ah well.

I love my original vita (£99 second hand!). Glad to see Sony continuing to support it.

In credit to Sony, since ending its partnership with Samsung, the firm has made great strides in LCD technology, Sharp as well. Other than being a little thicker/heavier as a panel, they've solved issues of power consumption, improved colour representation and daylight viewing, to an extent generally superior to OLED. Contrast is perhaps the final weak area, but the gap has certainly closed.
