gimme gimme gimme :]
Can't wait
IPS TFT Screen, say again?
I was of the understanding they're competing methods for display In-Plane Switching and Thin-Film Transitor, can a display be both?
Hmm, I'd be amazed if it does ship at £215 here in the UK, although if they DO manage that price level then they probably deserve to shift all they can make.
Good spec - if it also had either 64GB or a uSD slot then it'd be brilliant (imho). Just watched a TwiT podcast "AAA" reviewing the LG G2, (on which the Nexus 5 is based), and their opinion was that the hardware was first class, but LG's software sucked badly. In which case the Nexus 5 (with "pure" Android) could be very special.
The white one is "grubby" as someone has just inverted the colours in Photoshop.
The box photo for the white model look a little more believable, although why people insist on having white phones is a mystery to me. Hope it's released very soon, I've been holding out to upgrade to a (black) nexus 5 for too long, my GS2 battery is totally knackered.
Think its going to be £249 for a 16gb model & an extra £70 for the 32gb & better battery (if the leaked spec is correct) !
I wonder if they will get the stock in for the massive serge that will happen on lunch ? fingers crossed
Hmmmm... trying to think of a way for this to be a even worse kept secret than it is now.
I was fully expecting the 16gb to be the exact same price as the nexus 4 was when it came out (£280 +p&p iirc).... it looks more expensive as there's no 8gb model anymore but it's not and considering the specs it's a relative bargain.
noodles2k - the white nexus is just an 'inverted black' photoshop, the box is the correct one (assuming there is a white one)
I want one, I'd prob get it on release. my galaxy nexus is doing all sorts of weird crap.
