It was kind of pointless without a similarly low power SoC to match though. Just supplying graphics designs to other SoC makers isn't a huge cash generator if Imagination Technologies is anything to go by - $127m revenue for 2012 is a good business but wouldn't have made a big difference to AMD's financials. Imagination have their graphics designs in every Apple product and numerous other SoCs so you can't really call them a minor player in the field.
