I wonder what percentage of the profits is due to their professional GPU sales??
It's so stupid how they keep putting out these uber expensive graphics cards and beating their chests as if it matters. Those are going to see the least sales. Nobody is going to feel particularly compelled to buy a new GPU if the GPU that would make the purchase worth it costs $500-$1000. Might as well just stick with your 7870, 7970, 7950, 670 680 or w/e. In the end they stagnate the market for a year or two for each gamer.
What i want to see? The costs they ate on the wasted wafers and chip losses. They have been sucking up the cost of their manufacturing process for a while now. be interesting to see how much that has impacted their profits.
