that curved phone is horrible and pug ugly.
...reminds me of one of those curved "Celebrations" chocolate boxes
nice toothpaste
That's looks terrible aesthetically and functionally. At least apple won't have any patent violation worries now, who the hell else would want to make a phone that shape?
Reminds me of the Acer Liquid Metal

You guys probably should have put somewhere in the article that this is a fan made render, and not in any way an apple design
Of course yeah all curved screens should be destroyed on sight, they are all a complete waste of R&D
Even the curved mock up is blighted with reflections!
Ah - used to have an Acer Liquid Metal - the convex curve was not too annoying but definitely not an enhancement.
Now the slight concave curve of the Nexus S was great and glad to see LG imitate it. That's the only sort of curve I'd want. Hard to argue with flat though.
ah yes the standard 'leaks' to bloomberg et al about 'hypothetical' new products... seriously haven't people cottoned on to this rubbish yet, it's all about keeping apple in the news (which isn't exactly hard obviously) and so the website can get link bait for advertising numbers...
What exactly going to change with a 'bigger screen'... oh I know another row or maybe even a column of icons...not to mention fragmentation or the loss of their fabled 'retina' display tag lol
Can't see them doing curved screen and I can only see them doing a 'domed' back like the imac, this is a company that basically releases rectangles with reounded edges...

Remember the Apple advertisement which showed why the smaller screen was perfect. The thumb that fitted perfectly to every corner.
How is that going to work with this enormous and curved screen. The hump only makes it further away and impossible to reach.
This will never reach the shelves, however if it did im sure it will be a total success.
Nuu product muust buuy, muust buuy. (In a slow zombie voice).
And wait for it Apple will try sue everyone else saying they designed the first curved screen
JABULANI NONKE
ah, something else apple can claim they "invented" - assuming this rumor is true.
Apple seem to be regulary late to the party these days, Ever since Jobs said that a 3.5-inch screen is a "perfect size for consumers" and that larger screens are foolish.
Not the trend setters they seem to think they are.
looks like a knock off ipod.
