Holy cow, this just made my day!
I was planning on picking up a r9 290 anyway but this just makes it that much more worth it!

Dammit, recently decided I would pick up a 290 when the non reference versions come out, but bought BF literally 3 days ago...
I take it you can sell these coupons on?

I still have my silver & bronze codes from the 7950 I got at the weekend. I own everything on the current list so I was waiting for them to update it (rumoured to be at the end of the month) to see if I can claim the new games. Thief looks to be like the only one they are adding.

Be tempted for a 270X but would first want to see how Mantle performs in the likes of BF4.
Shouldn't have to wait too long, isn't the patch being released next month?

So what happens if you've already purchased the 280 a few weeks ago?

You enjoy your 280. If you need BF4, you buy it. Such is life.

Any update on that qualifying list of retailers ?
Looking to purchase a new gfx card, BF4 being included will swing me toward AMD this time around...possibly.

BF1941 and BF2 plugged Nvidia on start-up. Does BF4 come with an "AMD" start clip?

Re: AMD to bundle Battlefield 4 with Radeon R9 graphics cards

For people who buy this card but already brought BF4 , I'd recommend you return your original copy as faulty as the game pretty much doesn't work after the latest patch from two days ago.

Not yet! There are a lot of "new" 280X about to be released though so maybe they will include them. What I mean by new is the review cards and most of the current stock are XT2 Tahiti cores or HD7970GE in other terms, where as the revised ones will have the newer XTL Tahiti which is supposed to be more efficient but with possibly less OC potential (ala Sandy vs Ivy).

Yeah I know they are essentially rebranded 2970s but I was hoping that they'd still get the offer
