Oh well, I for one am not gonna complain when I don't get something for free.
No doubt someone will object and complain, but free is free. IMHO, I buy a graphics card for the hardware and not the accompanying bundled software, which I would consider a pleasant bonus.
No, that statement isn't confusing in and of itself, but it doesn't say that every R9 card will come with BF4, either. So it seems to me that AMD are quite right to issue a clarification, and it doesn't look like it's up to AMD to sort anything out - it's the partners and retailers who need to decide how they're going to apply the offer. Now, call us obtuse, but the original wording does indeed say that 'any' R9 card is eligible for the promotion - there's certainly nothing confusing about that.
Presumably there's a limited allocation of vouchers, which is why they're not just throwing them into bundles with every R9 card sold, and they need to assess the demand for each card and work out how best to distribute the limited resource...
Its probably not that big a deal. I think anyone wanting BF4 badly enough has it already.
The only people this has/will affect are those wanting to jump onto the mantle API improvements, if its actually worth it anyway
Vent my frustration rank coming.
This giveaway is worth nothing considering the game doesn't work....
Still feel they should expand the number of titles offered :/
