looks interesting, and hopefully its a success so they start propagating the cooler down the model lines. It looks like you're not even paying a premium over card + block, (£499 would be £100 more than the Direct CUII line, which is cheaper than an ek block & backplate) whilst maintaining your warranty.
Wonder if its really a 'full cover' block though, or just covering the die then relying on the fans for vrm etc cooling. Not that you'd think anyone but the most particular wc enthusiast would probably care.
Brilliant idea and bravo to Asus for releasing a consumer product on this idea. Would be nice to see the same option on a 280x and 290x card.
For a £500 card you would think they would have given it better clocks out of the box. Clocks are mid range for 780's.
I like the idea of this. Looks better than most blocks!
