I like it, lets hope for a continued high quality releases for the Android platform to support such things - not forgetting it's streaming capabilities - I am already starting to worry about limited storage, but I assume this can be rectified with a USB hard disk?
Glad the Android console idea didn't die with the Ouya and companies are pushing forward. I think the end of 2014 might actually see these take off.
Needs one good unit that has good controller, good media support, on demand apps, and a OS skin that works well on larger screens.
Android consoles are a poor man's answer to gaming.
Meh.
lol, I think that backs up my thought that content is what makes a platform.
Tegra-4 doesn't seem like a good base though. Those out of date shaders coupled to a 32 bit CPU. I think I would be more interested in a good controller that I can pair with an off the shelf tablet which can plug into the TV.
Edit to add: Fudo says Android 5.0 will be 64 bit, out later this year. Android games might be a better bet then. http://www.fudzilla.com/home/item/33...appens-in-2014
