I was expecting Sony to produce a Windows Phone at some point, Samsung though, I've been a bit more surprised by their more tentative approach; I thought they would have more WP8 phones out by now. Well, more choice in the long run, so customers should be winning in the end.
If I was Microsoft, then I'd be trying to claw back a lot of that cash - I've not found anyone that regards the Samsung WP8 phones as anything other than a "me too" play. And of course, if they've got a load of spare cash, then perhaps Microsoft could be generous to the developer community. After all, at the end of the day that's perhaps why they're only #3 - lack of apps?Murtazin's Twitter post suggests Microsoft will disburse $1.2 billion to Samsung
But in a nutshell that IS Samsung at the moment...just do enough to be regarded well!
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
The more choices we have, the better I guess. I'm just hoping the quality of Samsung & Sony's android smartphone line won't suffer because of spreading their resources more.
