pc version looks ropey as well.
The people playing an Xbox One look ropey too.
So, Xbox Two and Playstation 5 out in 2 years then ?
PC has always been better choice for gaming...

Is there an AMD pc comparison shot.
The amd apu in the xbox one is seriously weak for what dev's have been throwing at it. Even the UI creaks a lot if you've been playing a game and jumped out to do anything else.
I forgot in the other amd mantle thread that I do actually own an amd apu in my xbox and I don't particularly like it but don't have much choice with current gen consoles.
It's either an amd apu or an amd apu with a few more rop's
It's a bit early to discuss it when they've already said the March dashboard update's there to fix a lot of issues Respawn have had developing. The release game could look utterly different, the beta's literally a server test.
Wow looks so bad on xbox one.
I've signed up for this, I've played enough EA Beta versions to know they don't look anything like the actual game will look when that comes out but they do give a really good idea of how the game will play. Ignore the unrefined graphics for now, sign up for the beta, have a test drive and decide from that if you want to pre-order the game or not.
on the xbox the game looks like COD with mechs. very disappointing that XB1 cant even run games like COD at 1080p/60fps.
Considering its an alpha version that screenshot is from, I think its too early to start saying how rubbish the graphics are, like most things, wait for the release version.

So, 72p extra hasn't made any difference?
Xbox one looks like Battlefield 2142
792p puzzles me as to why they'd do it. If the image is going to be up-scaled (exact opposite of what fxaa has been doing all these years) then surely it makes sense to use a resolution that's a round fraction of the target resolution like 720p is 2/3rd's of 1080p ... so every 2 pixels gets up-scaled to 3.
792p is 11/15th's of 1080p it's a bit of a random number to use.
900p kind of makes sense because it 5/6th's of 1080p so they only need to add 1 pixel for every 5 rendered. Not 4 for every 11!
It's a beta and it's a known fact that the console version is easier to get up and running faster so there is no excuse. The simple fact is that the XBox1 is weak even compared to a midrange PC, their ESRAM is coursing issues, there is not enough of it and the kinect has taken performance from the machine.
