If they can get a game as good as arkham city/asylum but in the starwars universe then it'd definitely be on my wish list !
given the aweful star wars recently is this
A NEW HOPE?
I guess it's better than EA giving it the Battlefield treatment...
Best news about this news as far as I'm concerned - I guess most folks have seen the films, bought the DVD, rebought it as BlueRay, etc. On the other hand if you're just going to use the Star Wars universe then there's (cinema)scope for telling of a whole load of new stories. Definitely preferable to just doing "Battlefield:Alliance v's Empire" or "Simcity:Alliance Commander" or some such nonsense. And if "Need For Speed: Podracing Edition" comes out then I'm going to boycott EA.However EA is very clear that any new Star Wars game won't be based upon any of the films.
That's got to be a worry ... that with a franchise that they've (probably?) paid a lot for there will be a strong temptation to get a sausage factory of "product" - quantity at the expense of quality. I hope this doesn't happen.
Well DICE, BioWare, and Visceral are all great studios.
Maybe we'd get a Star Wars a la Dead Space sort of thing.
But most of all, PLEASE! EA! LET BIOWARE REMAKE THE KOTOR I AND II!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
I would love another KOTOR type game.
Not being based on the films just gives the writers/designers more freedom, I look forward to seeing what they can come up with
Jedi Knight 3 and x-wing/tie fighter would be nice. About time we had a Star Wars flight sim.

The batman treatment?
Bad optimization with horrible ports and update support? Gee, thank-you EA!

Warner Bros. Studios isn't really a great example for customer support. They tryin' to get mow dolla dolla.
Prior Batman Games of the series, AA and AC which were made by Rocksteady, were really great. I find them highly innovative the way Rocksteady made those. There might have been problems but this Arkham Origins problem is just insane, they'd rather make more DLCs than fix the issues first.
In other news, Rocksteady IS making the final Batman Arkham game of the series, which is all in all good for all
