Since I couldn't give too hoots about AMD, and ATI's graphics side is all that I take interest in I say they call the first part ATI!
"Strategic transformation" means "Restructuring" which means "we are loosing money and can't make a profit but we have to pretend to investors/OEM's that we are doing something to improve the situation without actually improving the business".
Sounds like more resources are being put into "restructuring AMD" and wasting time instead of catching up with Intel R&D and FAB process node. Intel uses 22nm and will soon be 14nm by end of 2014. AMD still stuck with 32nm/28nm and slow to progress to smaller nodes. I don't care what you call it or the endless "pretty slides", I want Real Tech Advancements and Real Results.
