"The monitor utilises a Quad HD resolution display (with 3440x1440 pixels)"
How is 3440x1440 in any way 4 times 1980x1080? Is it me or is this another case of marketing department BS?
Wow (shadowsong): Arthran, Arthra, Arthrun, Amyle (I know, I'm inventive with names)
3440x1440 = 4,953,600
1980x1080 = 2,138,400
2.31x Regular HD.
That's not a bad margin of error for a marketing department.

major tempted...
For reference, this is what Wikipedia says:
QHD (Quad HD), also sometimes advertised as WQHD[29] due to its widescreen shape, or 1440p,[30] is a display resolution of 2560x1440 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has four times as many pixels as the 720p HDTV video standard, hence the name.
It is just multiple marketing efforts getting a bit twisted around each other. HD is 1280x720, QHD is 2560x1440 i.e. four times HD. Full HD is 1920x1080 and Ultra HD is four times full HD i.e. 3840x2160. Ultra HD is not the same as 4K DCI while we're at it.
This isn't Quad High Definition though, I think it should be called Wide Quad High Definition or WQHD but apparently QHD is already short for Quad Wide High Definition... despite HD not being called wide and the QHD being no wider than HD.
I hate marketing.
RIGHT! It all makes some kind of sense now

2 of these, and RSI/Project Cars/etc.
Nom nom nom.
In other words I'll take 2 of the curved 34 incher! What a time to be alive.

A curved monitor makes a hell of lot more sense to me than does a curved television. Colour me interested!
Damn that gaming monitor is ugly.
Active Sync?
5820k / 16GB DDR4 2400 / MSI X99 SLI Plus / Asus Strix Vega64 / AOC 32"
I do definitely want!
