I agree it's not worth what they're charging (although of course any customer with niche requirements has to accept that they will shoulder an inflated price), but if any case is exactly what the customer wants then I guess they'll pay it. I would. The m-ATX case I have was £60, but if it had cost more I would have gladly paid quite a lot more to get it because it's precisely what I wanted. I bet when you're buying a whole list of parts at once for a total of hundreds of pounds, you've ended up burning an extra £30-50 here and there on a couple of components that were a little more than you strictly needed.

Seriously... who designed this case, they put what is likely the heaviest part (the psu) at the top when it's on end, making it top heavy and easy to topple over. Then they stick the ssd/hd's right next to the hottest components with little ventilation... my psu/gpu gets quite warm.

As to price £100 for an all aluminium case isn't too bad but it's not exactly good value, especially when lian li do bigger cases (more aluminium should mean more cost) for less than this one.

I think I'd save myself £50 and just grab a silverstone ml07, it might not be aluminium but it's pretty similar to this lian li in 'design' although they've got the psu at the bottom when standing vertically

I don't know what it is about Lian Li, but they always look cheaply made and aesthetically old compared to Silverstone and CoolerMaster cases that are around the same price.

I can't ever remember seeing a Lian Li and thinking it doesn't look like a cheapo chinese clone, which is silly, given their pricing.

I'm a Lian Li fan, have been since forever. It's not brand loyalty, or liking expensive stuff, the look I find is just perfect. They are classy, all metal cases that fit into any room. I paid £220 for my case, but it replaced one I'd bought 10 years earlier 5 years ago, and will keep this for even longer, it's timeless.

If I was going to build a MiniITX rig, I'd probably get this case too.

it's an asus motherboard, likely one of the socket 1150 z87 versions like the Asus Z97I-Plus... basing it off the daughter card and the asus gpu

no 5.25" slot or at least the slim version for a blu-ray reader,many will buy it because it will fit nice in the furniture,but its not that good -to be considered.

silverstone have an aluminium version of the rvz01/ml07 case, which is pretty similar (slim, with riser), I would expect it to be cheaper than this.
Still, more options is better.
I'd like to see more cases with risers as it really allows a narrower profile.

Agree that the design here makes no sense - as well as putting the heaviest parts at the top, they've also put maximum distance between the PSU and mobo, which is going to make cabling a nightmare.

Should have had it set up as (from top to bottom) GPU -> Mobo -> PSU. Better cabling, better weight distribution and better thermals (as the hottest component is at the top).
