    Still using a $30 wireless logitech M525 for all my FPS gaming.

    Still coming in the top of the scoreboard on every match.

    People who buy gaming mice are suckers.

    Got to disagree there. I'm glad you like your M525 but it's not just gamers who buy these mice - the programmable buttons and sensitivity are useful for productivity applications. I've found them useful in video editing and colour grading applications. Not to mention many people prefer wired mice for their reliability and the fact that you don't have to replace batteries.

    I have never understood the need to adjust the weight of a mouse for twitch play usage. I usually throw away all the weights and holders these kind of mice come with. The mouse for me should be as light as possible so has limited inertia and becomes an extension of your hand. Adding weight I think is just to give a sense of perceived quality. You will soon adjust to a lighter mouse.
