Happy enough to keep my 7950 until I stop being able to run the games I want at the highest
I'd love to, but at 1080p it doesn't offer any real performance benefits over my 760. 1440p, however, is a different story. With freesync around the corner, it's difficult to say.
Yup I reckon. I'm only 1080p but I need to move on from my 570 for the Witcher 3 and so on.
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.
I bought a Gigabyte GTX 770 4gb WINDFORCE 3X last year and I'm very tempted to sell it and buy one of these GTX 970 variants. To be honest I was expecting the overall performance of these new cards to be slightly higher, but for the price, the GTX 970 is an excellent graphics card.
Still waiting for a decent card under £200. Hopefully the GTX960 then I suppose.
Not unless I win a pair of 980s from Hexus to replace my 780Tis
I am wondering if i should sell my R9 290 Tri-X in order to get the GTX 970.
Nope, only recently got a 760 which I'm very pleased with.
I am currently using a GTX 580, which starts to have some problems with latest games at 2560x1440 resolutions.
So probably will go for a GTX 970, but reference design. I think custom design won't do well in my tiny Node 804. I really need to evacuate the heat.
EDIT: Just ordered myself a GTX 970 from a german shop. if all goes well, I'll have this new baby end next week.

My 7970 rolls on, I admit the power draw and subsequent heat output are very impressive. But outright performance? Nope.
I have done a GTX980 great card brought more for the lower TDP than performance and needed to replace the 550ti as getting back into my gaming will go SLI eventually game I brought card for is not completed only in alpha build so will likely sell this GTX980 for some more matured cards after Xmas.
*Only issue at the moment is won't be seen by folding@home app :-( so can't fold on it.
