Should change the headline to "some next-gen consoles"
Three years in the making? This should be a darned good game if it's "steeped" for that long.
If so, then I can hardly wait - they can have my pre-order now.
PS4 and XBone seems to pretty much cover it for "next gen console". SteamBoxes aren't out there yet, and Wii U ... don't make me laugh.
You're entitled to your opinion, but most others out there equate "next gen" with the Sony/Microsoft duopoly. Wii U (which was launched two years ago) is kind of a halfway house. And no, I'm not a Nintendo hater - had a DSi XL (which passed to one of my kids) and an original Wii.
Up until recently the sales for the Wii U were pretty dismal, (compared to the XB/PS competition), so I can perfectly understand Avalanche not wanting the commercial risk of having to support it. And personally, if it'd make the PC version better then I'm quite content to have next-gen console support dropped too!
As a member of the PC master race, the idea of a Wii U being next gen is erm, yeah, I wouldn't even consider it to be.
The reason is they simply aren't trying to do that whole power thing and AAA titles.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Happy days to hear this franchise still exists, I was under the impression it had died =)
