    I wonder if the various companies concerned will agree on standards for VR content or if we are destined for yet another format war?

    It is not as if AC/DC, Phonograph/Gramophone, 78/45, CC/8-Track, VHS/Betamax or HD-DVD/Blu-Ray have put anybody off repeating the same process again and again over the last 100+ years.
