Ubisoft saying sorry to people who have paid a lot of money to play a bug riddled game by...giving them another bug riddled game for free? Or an expansion (read, probably original content that was stripped out)...

We will fix the problem with Assassins Creed by giving you the rest of the game!

Go Ubisoft! Company of the year!...

Yeah I have to agree with this one, the Idea of Day 1 DLC is a joke.

I actually haven't had that many issues with the game except sub par graphics but am really enjoying the game so I am generally quite pleased with the free DLC. Freedom Cry was quite a good DLC which passed quite a lot of time whilst I waited for Unity.

Does it play okay on your 1Gb GTX 285? (just read your system specs). I thought the minimum was a GTX 680?

Im going to go out on a limb here and say no it doesnt , look at anandtech they did a benchmark of assassins creed and it runs like an absolute dog! I cant even play it on low @ 1080p with my 7950 boost as I get less than 30 fps in most places its just horrible to play and its also horrible to look at! Black flag was the polar opposite for me, it looks solid (not crysis but certainly pretty enough) and ran silky smooth.

This game runs like a dog its clear that it was rushed out the door for the holiday season, it needs another 3 months at least to get it running on ACCEPTABLE HARDWARE. Who would have thought you would need a GTX680+ just to play on low at 1080p... the consoles do it okay for the hardware they have but its still piss poor.

I saw some EA reps pushing the sports titles, and genuinely considered congratulating them on finally losing the title of worst publisher in the games industry.

...take this as a warning Ubi, you're more EA than EA!

This will just make more people pirate games just to try them out in future to see if they do work or are bug ridden to hell.

the games are now becoming stupid because theyre making an extension to the game a stand alone and its sickening how they charge so much for it
