After seeing how little difference DDR4 makes, I doubt many will make that their upgrade reason.

Your assuming most people will read the reviews or realise how little real-world difference it will make. I remember last year on hexus (of all places!) there was a thread about the tech people were most interesting in coming to market next......the amount of people who stated DDR4 was shocking.

But sooner or later we will all be forced to upgrade to DDR4, the sooner those prices drop, the better! A crossover chip/chipset will potentially make that happen sooner.

Yeah true, people just like bigger numbers. To be fair, by that time DDR4 will be about the same price as DDR3, which is the only thing that'll get me to buy it. I'm hoping to stick with DDR3 though, a mobo/CPU upgrade is enough of a sting, would rather not throw the cost of RAM onto that bonfire

This is great and all but when will the mobile versions of these CPU's be coming out, I would love to see a Gigabyte Aorus x5 or x7 with these CPU's.
