I would expect so. Intel's QuickSync has been around since 2011; Kepler since 2012. There are vastly more iGPUs with QuickSync than nVidia Kepler GPUs. I don't know why it took four years for intel to do something with their h.264 encoder. I appreciate fraps, d3dgear, and dxtory but now that I have cards with shadowplay I can record 2560x1440p@60Hz while playing BF4 without a single stutter in-game nor in the recording. Of course a non OS SSD to record on helps a lot, too.
Shame that no desktop Core i3 with the Iris Pro IGP will be sold.
It's never a good sign when makers start comparing things to 9 year old products. How good are the new gfx compared to the 4770k igp?
