    oh my... I remember Descent 2, the first ever game I played that I was really free to move in 3D environment. I was so impressed.

    I played it on a Macintosh 7200/75 my uncle brought here from US, while my friends still had DOS (I didn't had a computer back then myself).

    Descent - I played that for ages. One of the most difficult games to master at the time because you were never sure which way was up and whether to turn left or right, up or down. Lots of brain twisting fun though so I suspect a modern version will be quit good.

    Edit: Just looked it up and it came out in 1994! God I'm old.

    I'm all for older games such as Descent and other being remade. Hell, even the original games with just a graphics overhaul would get my money

    @Plasmastorm + 1

    What I would give for that... Seriously, what is it with everything going Multi-player? You ever realise there are those of us who are NOT ninja-quick fingered and like playing a game on our own, without being 'pwned' a gazillion times over by a bunch of foul mouthed teens?

    The joy of bimbling round those tunnels with just my trusty Vulcan cannon, rapidly backtracking when I bumped into those purple-walled-robot-producing caves or my frantic bouncing into every wall imaginable trying to make my escape after blowing up the reactor?

    Fun times...

    So yes, a million times yes, to a remake of Descent 1 or 2 with luvvly graphics please...
    If the Earth is a sphere how do you travel to the ends of it?
