Gah, just bought a 930... they better get this fixed before the full roll-out!
Still, at least I can try it out on my old 820 in the meantime

They are rolling it out in a sort of slowest-oldest phones first.
Which is actually really good, both android devices I have appear to get slower with updates on the whole, the trend is down. People I know with an iPhone find the updates even worse. My old iPad2, which cost me £500, is pretty much worthless now, it chugs so slowly.
By focusing on getting it working well on the low end hardware, without slow down, it will work on the higher end.
However, right now, no one opt in to the preview for a phone you use every day, it's incredibly unstable right now, think alpha.

Not really, because the only Lumia is (a) my missus' "daily driver" and (b) carrier locked anyway. Are any readers excited to see that their Lumia smartphone will shortly be able to preview Windows 10?
I'd be really happy if W10TP was available for the non-Lumia phones - especially the HTC 8S. That strikes me as pretty good set of hardware being held back by HTC's incompetent setup, so a vanilla setup would be much prefered.
The Lumia 930 is known as the Lumia ICON in America, think you'll be covered CK_1985
As my 520 is sitting by idly wishing for a meaning to it's banal existence, I should be so happy to gift it with Windows 10.
I quite like the idea of one OS across all MS devices.
