I was smiling throughout the whole thing until it said "preorder now to recieve blah blah bs..." I hate feeling like I'm getting an incomplete game just because I'm not preordering it on pure faith that it'll be good, especially when trust for the industry is extremely low these days.
Hopefully it'll be at least as fun as the last one though!
Looks somewhat similar to GTA5 but with more explosions and jumping.
Looks interesting. So bored with most modern games now but this has piqued my interest.
You have set your expectations quite low then. Seriously though, I would want it to be better then the previous version, both in terms of gameplay and eye candy. But this is a game that I have been looking forward to since I completed the story in JC2, I haven't even managed to get to 100% completion with game, but have at least completed the main campaign and it's a game I go back to from time to time just so I can free roam around the landscape.
I didn't even play either of the first ones that much actually They seemed pretty cool, but I just didn't feel like playing them much for some reason. But I saw people having a lot of fun playing the second one, especially with that crazy multiplayer mod! It kinda got me interested in the third one!
That bit where the plane crashes through the construction site sent my inner 5 year old mad with glee!
I'll second that - JC2 isn't particularly pretty (only DX10 isn't it?) but b*** me that thing is more fun than a bag full of greased weasels. It, (unlike CoD), has that "I wonder if I could..." replay value. Only downside was the grinding necessary to get armour etc levelled up.
Hell yes, I'll be on Steam tonight if they're accepting pre-orders. Just hope my now-ancient PC is going to be meaty enough to be able to do it justice. Those interested are invited to pre-order now to secure an "exclusive weaponised vehicle pack".
This has made my day... (yes I AM that shallow)
Tuk Tuk Boom Boom!

I wonder what the gameplay will feel like. I never got into the original, it just never 'felt' right. This may tempt me back with those graphics
Considering how JC2 is such a blast to play (and honestly I did like the visuals, regardless of being "just" DX10) alongside the multiplayer mod that allows for an insane amount of people playing at the same time, I do have high expectations for JC3, especially considering they're going with a JC2 vibe rather than JC1.
I'm thoroughly excited.
Agree with that last bit - I really didn't much like JC1 - although I did end up playing it (Steam sale) after JC2.
The "just DX10" bit was me being sarcastic - I've read quite a posts with people complaining that it (JC2) isn't worth considering because of the low-res/rent graphics. Personally I'd prefer fluid visuals to something that looks spectacular but will only play properly on a really high-end setup, (yes Crytek I am looking at you).
Put in my pre-order yesterday, so hopefully I'll get three vehicles and the high powered sniper rifle (explosive ammunition - Oooo the havoc I could cause with that!). Downside is that Steam says that it's due "April 2016" which isn't my definition of "Holidays 2015" - hopefully that was just a typo.
