Not a bad little card. Would love to see a comparison review with the Asus variant.
This one:

NOw if they just made a watercooling full cover block for it as well...it would be perfect for a really small WC build
Pretty remarkable sizes for such potency. Colour me impressed.
There is way too little fanfare over this! It's a tiny card that can run a QHD screen at max settings! For less than £300!
MY GOD WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!
Ahem, sorry. Got a little excited. Seriously though, it doesn't seem that long ago that we were championing the 780 for finally having a card that can whack all settings up to max on a 1080p screen and never dip below 60fps, and now we've blown way past that
Small note, two bars on the System Noise Level graph on page 7 are slightly
wrong (the file 15.png), ie. if the load noise levels for the XF R9 280 DD and
Palit GTX 970 Jetstream are indeed 40, then these two bars should be a little
longer (they should line up on the 40 mark, with the Gigabyte MiniITX).
Actually there are lots of bars in that graph which are not the right length
given the numbers written within them. Some are too short, a couple are too long.
Or are the bars actually based on data obtained with 0.5 accuracy, but the bar
numbers rounded to the nearest whole number. Atm they're a bit all over the place,
which matters when we're talking about log noise levels.
Ian.
It's attractive enough with compactness and 4 GB memories but I'm afraid it won't be able to last for a long enough time at high OC settings without water cooling.
I am looking for examples where a short GPU results in a smaller PC. Have case manufacturers responded with smaller case designs or is it just to free more space inside for the likes of water coolers?
