Curious about "secure processor"
at least another year of amd leaking money then... you'd think they'd be trying to speed up the release of a 'high end' desktop cpu
I would imagine there's enough demand for it. But I doubt they've delayed anything on purpose. That just wouldn't make much sense.. So, once again, I had to go with Intel this time round. Looks like Amd should have something ready by the next time I upgrade though. I hope I can choose Amd next time!
I think they'll use xBox, PS4, Nintendo + Radeon to prop them up this year.
The Radeons could really bring something interesting to the table.
Something I find odd from AMD's CPU range, is confusing the consumers by having AM3+, FM2+ and now even more bizarrely AM1 as though we're going round again. So no one really knowing what on earth to go for.
Intel makes it nice and easy for the mainstream CPUs and majority of retail consumers, from a Celeron to i7 on a single socket.

Hang on!. Last week there were articles, here on Hexus about the new zen core APU featuring 16 Zen (cpu) cores but if you look at the 2016 roadmap, it shows that the cpu (summit ridge) will have only 8 zen cores and the APU (Bristol ridge) will have only 4 zen cores!. What is happening here?. Are we going to get a 16 core Zen APU or CPU?. That aside, I am happy to see, the Zen will be on 14nm. Also, if you look at the 2016 roadmap, it says that the summit ridge (Zen cpu) will be on FM3 platform!. That means really are merging all 3 platforms (AM3, FM2+, Opteron) onto a single, unified platform. Should be interesting....
